Find out how to improve your chances and seize the opportunity to pose your questions directly to the people who are most involved in the decision-making process. They have funds that they need to distribute, and you have projects that need to be funded. Learn how to increase your success in making that match.

Rebekah Morrison-Wize. London Arts Council
Since returning to her hometown of London in 2003, has dedicated herself to the London arts community within her position as Development Officer, Investments with the London Arts Council. Rebekah holds a BFA Honours Degree in Dance from York University. Living 20 years in Toronto, Rebekah worked with the Dancer Transition Resource Centre, Canada’s National Ballet School and Canadian Stage Theatre Company. Rebekah manages the Community Arts Investment Program and is responsible for pursuing and securing all of LAC’s project, program and operational investments through grant applications, corporate sponsorships, in-kind donations and community partnerships.
Ward Dilse, Ontario Creates
This Ancaster resident has been involved in the sport and entertainment industries for the past two decades. Ward is a Program Consultant with the Ontario Music Office at Ontario Creates. He promotes and enhances the business development and market potential of Ontario’s music industry, by coordinating program and marketing initiatives and providing consultative services in order to contribute to the domestic and international growth of Ontario music companies through the Ontario Music Investment Fund. His event management experience includes the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Soccer Competition, 2018 Molson Canadian Olympic Team Send-Off and the inaugural 2019 RBC Canadian Open Concert Series. In addition, he was a member of the 2015 Juno Awards Host Committee and Co-Chair, Marketing & Pageantry.
Dwayne Dixon – Ontario Arts Council
Dwayne has more than 15 years of experience in the arts as well as in the corporate and entertainment sectors. In 2016-17, he was Executive Director of the Nia Centre for the Arts, a youth arts organization focused on helping young Black artists. During his tenure, he secured an additional 7,000 square feet from the City of Toronto for their venue to be renovated into Canada’s first multidisciplinary professional space dedicated to Black art. Dwayne also produced Nia’s first large-scale multidisciplinary arts festival, Blowout Fest. From 2013 to 2015, Dwayne was the Executive Director of Manifesto Community Projects, where among his achievements he produced Canada’s largest hip-hop and urban arts festival at Yonge & Dundas Square in Toronto.
