FCLMA Battle of the High School Bands

Presented By Libro Credit Union

The Forest City London Music Awards is proud to support and encourage young London musicians through the Battle of the High School Bands. The Youth Award is determined through our 2021 Battle of the High School Bands competition annually at the London Music Hall.  This year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic the competition will be held virtually June 10 & 11 and streamed live at the FCLMA Facebook page.  FCLMA encourages high school bands to practice, register and  bring and compete to win the annual competition.

Winner(s) will receive:

  • First Prize winner – two songs professionally produced, engineered from London’s compelling new studio The Watershed – VALUE approximately $2500. Songs are mastered for release on all digital outlets  (iTunes and Spotify) by one of Canada’s top record mastering engineers Robert Nation at the famed EMAC Studios. EMAC, recording hit records for over 40 years.
  • First place winner is invited to perform & attend the Forest City London Music Awards Gala.
  • First Prize winner gets their song played on a Corus Radio station in London- FM96 or Country 104.
  • Second Prize Winner – one song professionally produced, engineered, mixed and mastered for release on all digital outlets  (iTunes and Spotify) from the famed Sugar Shack Recording Studio – VALUE approximately $600
  • All contestants except 1st and 2nd place receive a complimentary live recording session at the Digital Creative Arts Centre (DCAC) at the Boys and Girls Club London. The DCAC studio is a state-of-the-art facility including and recording studio, classroom and performance space.

NB: Prizes are subject to change based on availability. Changes will be of equal or higher value.
